Overdue Update

So sorry I've not posted up in while, as you might have seen from the last blog post (the blog takeover one) I've been in a hotel in North Wales on school placement. I was there for six weeks altogether (you might have seen the post about the first three weeks - face masks) but I had a week in the middle when it was half term. Well I've been back at university for over a week now so I felt it was about time I started getting more regular with my post - and as Dan and Leanne keep mentioning - featuring them a lot more ;)

Readers.. You might want to be prepared for a few more blog takeovers.. featuring Leanne especially.

So, in the second half of placement, we decided that we'd go out in Chester to break up the placement a bit and it was great going out with all fellow trainee teachers. I like how at university you have a whole network of friends, some who you only see on placement.

This is what sharing a room for a week can lead you too!

"The best thing about being shot in the buttocks.. Is the ice-cream" - just for you Hayley, if your reading!
So here's a selection of the photo's from our night out on placement :)
Enjoy!

Wearing rollers all day just to get ready to go out!

Just love this photo - I turned around and WHAM! photo was taken haha!

So this was just a quick update about my life, I'll be back soon to post a couple of reviews on exercise DVDs I've just purchased which I'm finding very useful at the moment! Oh, and the night we went to Chester, we made our own Harlem Shake video however, I am not uploading it here haha.. Its just too funny!

Deannechel takeover

SORRY I haven't written a post lately, but as you probably already know I've been busy on placement in North Wales. However, my time here is coming to an end so I thought I'd write a post about some of the lovely people I've spent the past six weeks with...

Firstly, I wanted to start with Rachel. What a babe, that's all.
Secondly, Dan. He's my main man, that's all.
And last (but certainly not least) Leanne, she's my babygyal. My everything.

I'm going to miss Wales quite a bit. Especially seeing my bezzies everyday. I'll miss them more than the chicken fajita wraps here (they're FIT). Also I'd like to thank them (Leanne especially) for collecting and delivering the toilet roll tubes I so desperately needed for my class' artwork project. My cleaner STOLE the 14 I had originally collected.

Anyways, here's a poem they wrote about our time on placement in Wales...

Oioi.

Me & Leanne just wanted to say a hearty hello, so this is our poem. Here we go;
We start in the countryside of north Wales, witnessing Sam and his flirting fails. The inappropriate jokes from Jack Booth, YOU RUIN EVERYTHING JACK, you're so not smooth.
Jessica Stallard, YOU'VE GOT YOUR OWN BLOG, here mate, give us a snog? But in all fairness, it's like really good. Professional, artistic, better than I could (do)
Yo, who's at the door? OH HEY THERE RACH, the girl we adore. You pulled twice on Saturday, what you sayin'? If you were a lad, you'd be top at playin'.
James, you are a top notch lad. Three way kisses aren't that bad? You introduced us to the walking dead, we will forever be in your debt.
Hayley, have you finished having your poo? I mean seriously, how long can you sit on the loo? Remember, the man with the inside out shirt? Lol, I bet you don't, you dirty flirt!
Ruby ruby ruby, you're always in your room! I hope you're not giving sam a cheeky little spoon. Come and join in with the fun and games, instead of three way kissing with Rach & James.
Stevooooooo, still throwing your money away? Gamblings for idiots man, don't be so gay! Found the leg of lamb in your room yet, by the time you find it, you'll be in some serious debt.
I hope you've enjoyed our rhyming slang. Love from, The Scooby Doo gang xoxox

Looking into the past: Younger Years

These next few posts will be heavily picture based! Recently I've been looking over my old photo's and videos and they really have been making me smile. Some of them are real classics and I wanted to share them as you can see how much I've changed in the past 18 years. This post will be based on the first years of my life, when I was a toddler, a few from my primary school years and the rest will be the first few years of secondary. Looking over all these photos.. I can't believe how much I've changed and how much I've been through.
Now this is the first professional photo of me and my mum absolutely loves this! She says that herself and my grandma were virtually standing on their heads to try and make me smile but I wasn't having any of it. The funny thing is that this is a perfect replica of my sarcasm face which I use now.. If you know me you'll know what I'm on about.. my "what are you doing" face haha.

Casually dressing up.. over my pj's haha.. Like you do.

Oh and there's the "what are you doing" face again.. Clearly I don't really like smiling!
Me, Beth and Molly - and can I just point you to my hair -- ITS BLONDE AND STRAIGHT - this is natural.

Me and Molly - bridesmaids at my auntie and uncles wedding.. How sweet :)
While at Hollowford in Year 6 on our residential trip.. Me tackling the rock climbing wall ;) haha
These are some of the photos from Florida 2005
Its a cute story really.. My mum planned the whole holiday without me and my sister knowing. We were aware that my auntie and uncle were going as I was planning to take care of their dog. So the night before we were due to fly my mum made me complete my maths homework and for some reason, both me and my sister were sleeping on the floor in my mums room. So the next morning, my mum woke us up like normal but as me and beth thought it was school we both went "nooo.. just five more minutes" which then lead my mum to reply with "don't you want to go to Florida then?".. Then me and Beth were up like a flash! Haha

So there all the photos from my younger years.. The next few posts will go year by year up until now :)

Hope you enjoyed laughing at me when I was younger!

Well I just thought I'd post this as an update to my life.. There's not much to update.. Just that I've been in Wales and made a whole new bunch of friends that I know I will keep in touch with!
